On August 3rd and 4th, 2024 I will be riding from Wellesley to Provincetown to raise $10,000 in the fight against cancer and I am seeking your financial assistance. My motivation for this ride is to honor my family and friends who have survived cancer or are currently battling it, and who rely on advancements in treatments. Additionally, I am riding in memory of my Dad, James Mansfield, and my nephew Pat Doherty, both of whom lost their lives to cancer. Pat was a 28-year-old with a promising career in finance, starting a new life in San Diego. I am determined to continue the fight for them and for others affected by this disease. I am proud to be a part of team Arlington Angels*, riding alongside friends and family, and dedicating our rides to the memory of Catherine Malatesta, Matt Griffin, and Pat Doherty, all young adults with Arlington connections who lost their battles with cancer. The PMC is the largest single supporter of Dana-Farber and accounts for 55 percent of the Jimmy Fund's annual revenue. Since 1980, the PMC has raised $831 million for Dana-Farber.
