When my Auntie Gail got diagnosed with breast cancer I was 15 years old. As the years went on and her fight continued her very good friend Rooster Conway rode the Pan Mass Challenge for her. He cumulatively rode throughout her diagnosis, giving her and others fighting hope for the future. Rooster retired after 11 years and over 100 thousand dollars raised (Woohoo!!!) and my Auntie Gail lost her long hard battle two summers ago. After that, I knew it was my time to step in and carry on the good fight. So for the second year in a row I will be biking 200 miles from Sturbridge to Provincetown the first weekend of August to honor her memory, her zest for life and the vast amount of love she left for us.

The Pan Mass is the single largest contributor to Dana-Farber and every dollar, 100% of donations go directly towards the research and care at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. 

Not only am I riding for my Auntie Gail, I’m riding for the loved ones we’ve lost and for our loved ones still fighting: For Sara Shelton, Patrick Williams, Deb Cerilli, Corey Bevilacqua and Shirley Bevilacqua.
