I am riding in my seventh 200 mile Pan-Mass Challenge. For the past six years, I have riden in honor of Logan. This year, I ride in memory of Logan. Logan died February 13th, 2017. Logan's wake was 2-23-17. Over 1000 people came to hug, kiss and cry with his parents. Logan's all day funeral followed the next day. The wake and funeral were the most wonderful and horrible experience of my life.
To honor Logan, like last year, I will be riding the PMC in one day, start to finish - from Sturbridge to P-Town. Last year my buddy Nick and I rode the 192 miles together. It took us 13 hours. This year, Nick and I will be joined by another buddy, Ashley. We ride to pay homage to Logan, his suffering, his unwaivering courage and to continue to raise money to find a cure for the dreaded disease that took his life way too early.
My base fundraising goal is $4,000.00. 100% of the donation will go toward finding a cure. I would greatly appreciate it if you would consider making a donation of any size. If this is possible, please click on the Donate link.
Thank you for considering making a donation to a charity that truly makes a difference in the lives of so many people we know, care about and love.
Lastly, I encourage you to watch the ESPN segment that aired in December of 2016 and then again shortly after Logan died. It will give you a glimpse into the life of this remarkable boy. In addition, I have listed a wonderful blog post written by Logan’s sister as well as a link to Logan’s funeral - both worth the extra time.
