If you're going through hell, keep going.
-Winston Churchill
The fight against cancer is never easy, the hiccups, setbacks, fatigue and stress alone makes it no small feat but never giving up, the will to survive and relentless support are the ingredients to winning the fight. Winston Churchill was stubborn and in many regards, that's what you need to be in the fight against cancer. There've been several times in my life where I've remembered his words and gotten through some tough times, even on the PMC. This year more than ever I think many can relate to those words as well.
Entering Year 9, I'm renewing my commitment and goal to support those battling cancer, in honor of my family and friends.
There aren't many people these days who haven't been effected by cancer. Something I hope my kids and generations to come will never have to deal with. For years now the Pan Mass Challenge has been my vehicle of support. The PMC is truely unlike any other event or fundraiser, pushing individuals and teams to their limits in a challenge to show their support to finding a cure.
If you're visiting this page, please consider becoming a part of the fight and donate. Your donation of any amount would be a great help toward my reaching this goal.
I'm a proud supporter of the PMC because it is leading a charge to beat cancer - a path not easily taken. In fact, every year 100% of rider-raised revenue went directly to support the Jimmy Fund and Dana-Farber Cancer Institute's tireless commitment to finding a cure. The PMC's work accounts on average for over 60% of the Jimmy Fund's revenue every year. Having affected and lost family and friends over the years to cancer this is my way of fighting back on their behalf and on behalf of future generations.
