This August I will once again join Team Perry and participate in my 22nd Pan Mass Challenge (PMC). The PMC is the largest single fund-raising event for the Jimmy Fund and Dana Farber Cancer Institute located in Boston, MA.

My brother, Perry, died in October 1999 at the age of 32 after a short courageous battle with cancer of the small bowel. Perry's wife, Melissa, and our family established the Perry S. Levy Fellowship for Gastrointestinal Research at the Dana Farber Cancer Institute. All monies raised will go to this Fund which provides for the annual salary of a gifted medical research doctor whose contributions will help find a cure, so that the only way Perry's nephews and nieces will know about Cancer is to read about it.

Cancer has not taken a break. There is no vaccine to cure Cancer. The Pan-Mass Challenge ride is responsible for raising 57% of Dana Farber Cancer Institute’s revenue that supports research and patients. While we cannot control what is happening in the world today, we can support DFCI to saves lives and deliver hope. Please help me help them by making a donation to Team Perry.
