Hello there Friends and Family!
A warm and heartfelt 2024 greeting to all of you amazing Mike King Pan Mass Challenge supporters!
It's once again time to rally with friends to kick that mighty foe Cancer in the teeth.
As I write you, I accelerate my preparations for this my 6th annual 200-mile, 2-day suffering across the state of Massachusetts, done with pride to remember and support the so many we all know who have battled this terrible affliction.
Through the past year my life has seen both triumph and devastation from Cancer, but one thing can't happen. And that's giving up. More than anything, I have been reinspired by the fight in several close to me whom cancer has attempted to demoralize. And yet with staunch spirit and determination, both these afflicted and those closest to them have met the foe and soldiered on.
First, I want to sincerely thank all of those who have supported me across these 5 years, where I am proud to have raised more than $50,000 for the Dana Farber Institute. That's an amazing gift and I thank you!
But WE are not done, and though I know the times and the financial priorities we all face, I am seeking your help to raise $10,000 in 2024.
For my lost buddy Jack Leidlein, my original motivation. For friend Pete Wheelan, who has flipped his unique diagnosis the bird and pulled through. For Mom, who had 2 breast scares. And not less for all the rest in your lives whom cancer has touched.
Please accept my assurance that I am grateful for every donation and will keep you posted about this year's ride.
