This year marks my 8th year riding in the Pan-Mass Challenge (PMC) with team Lindenmeyr Munroe. The PMC is an incredible movement of cyclists, volunteers, and donors who come together each year to raise funds for cancer research and treatment at the world-renowned Dana-Farber Cancer Institute through the Jimmy Fund.
While I won’t be able to ride the traditional PMC route from Sturbridge to Provincetown in Massachusetts with my great Lindenmeyr Munroe team, I’ll still be in the saddle and I’m more committed than ever.
On August 2nd, I’ll be cycling 123 miles from Atlanta to Alabama on the Silver Comet Trail, a converted rail line that connects Georgia to the Chief Ladiga Trail in Alabama. It’s a different route, but the mission remains the same: to fight cancer with every mile.
The Pan-Mass Challenge is the #1 athletic fundraiser in the U.S., and 100% of every dollar raised goes directly to Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. Every single penny fuels cutting-edge cancer research, patient care, and lifesaving breakthroughs.
I ride because I believe in this cause. I ride for the survivors, the fighters, the loved ones we’ve lost, and the ones still fighting. And I ride because cancer touches all of us.
I’m also proud to share that team Lindenmeyr Munroe has now raised over $1 million for the PMC since our team first came together from branches across the country uniting for one purpose: a world without cancer.
If you feel moved to support my ride, please consider donating. No amount is too small, and your support truly makes a difference.
Thank you for cheering me on and your support! Let’s make this year count.
