Why I Ride ...
I will be riding the 192 miles from Sturbridge to Provincetown on August 3rd and 4th to help the Ryan Harvey Foundation at Dana Farber find a cure for DIPG (Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma). Please donate to help find a cause for this awful disease.

We lost my nephew Ryan Harvey to DIPG in 2011 at the age of 10. It is rare brain cancer that affects about 300 kids a year in the US. When Ryan was diagnosed, there was no cure and very little hope. In the past year, there was a 13 year old boy named Lucas in Belgium who is the first child in the world to have been declared cured of DIPG. Lucas participated in a BIOMEDE trial in France and responded to a drug called Everolimus. This drug was studied in clinical trials at Dana Farber. Why he responded to this drug and others don’t, they don’t know why…yet, but they will. If we give the doctors the tools they need to find a cure, they will. Please help.
