This year, I’m incredibly excited (and a little nervous!) to be riding in my very first Pan-Mass Challenge (Wellesley to Borne)—and I’m not doing it alone. I’ll be hitting the road alongside my husband, Brett; my father-in-law, Paul; both my sisters-in-law, Brianna and Lexi; and my brother-in-law, Griffin.
Riding together as a family for such a powerful cause makes this experience even more meaningful. The PMC isn’t just a bike ride—it’s a movement of thousands of riders and volunteers coming together to raise critical funds for cancer research and treatment at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. Knowing that 100% of every dollar raised goes directly to this mission is what fuels every pedal stroke.
Since its founding in 1980, PMC riders like me have raised more than $1 billion for lifesaving cancer research, treatment and patient care at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, one of the country's top cancer care hospitals My PMC is making a difference in the lives of patients at Dana-Farber and around the world. The funds I raise support the innovative work of doctors, nurses, and scientists in their search for cures for cancers and related diseases.
This ride is about more than endurance or miles. It’s about community, healing, and hope. Whether you’ve supported a PMC rider before or this is your first time hearing about it, I hope you’ll join me on this journey—by donating, cheering us on, or simply spreading the word.
Here’s to firsts, to family, and to fighting cancer one mile at a time.
