2025 will be my 21st Pan Mass Challenge. It's hard to believe that I've been participating in this fundraising event for over two decades now. I feel very proud of this accomplishment, but also old! Where does the time go.

When I started riding the PMC at age 16, my Dad had just recently begun his second battle with cancer. That time in my life seems so long ago but at the same time, it feels like just yesterday. Each and every year since then, the first weekend in August has always been reserved for riding the PMC. For pedaling 192 miles to raise money to help find a cure for cancer. For riding in honor of my Dad who could no longer ride himself.

The 2017 PMC was the first year that we went from riding In Honor of my Dad to In Memory. That time also seems so long ago, but also just like yesterday. My family and I continue to ride in the Pan Mass Challenge each year in memory of my Dad, but also because we know the money raised has a real impact. It will help other families like ours in the future. Dana Farber gave us many more years with my Dad, and this is our way of giving back until one day nobody will lose a family member to cancer.

Thank you to everyone who has donated to my family's efforts in the past and continues to donate today. Over the past 21 years, I have seen the real impact this money has had. My Dad would be very proud that the PMC is still a part of my family's lives and we remain committed to finding a cure for cancer.
