...to contribute to a world where we Live with Hope for cures for all forms of cancer.
This year, in my 12th year riding, I ride in memory of my close friend Tom Petty, who fought the same Acute Myeloid Leukemia subform as my mom. Tom's care included Dana Farber, with standard and trial treatments. He was a wonderful man, full of grace, and I miss him dearly. His giving spirit will carry me onward and truly inspires me everyday.
Last year, I dedicated my ride to the beautiful memories of my friend Gary Singer, who courageously battled Multiple Myeloma for just a little over one year, but passed away on November 15th, 2022.
The PMC is inspiringly grand. 7,000 bikers collectively gathering a generous giving community to create over a $75 million donation to Dana Farber Cancer Institute.
The PMC is uniquely efficient. 100% of rider raised donations are handed directly to the Dana Farber Cancer Institute; we are creating hope for so many.
I am so often humbled hearing constant cancer diagnosis' that change lives. This is our way to make a difference...together, one donation at a time, we contribute to this crusade to find cures.
Please share with me a name to carry on my bike, in my heart, and in my prayers as I pedal across Massachusetts. I ride every year in loving memory of my mom, my mother in law, and the many friends and family who have received a cancer diagnosis.
Thank you for being part of my team. Please share this with anyone interested. Together, we will make the difference.
Mike
