My father was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in September 2021. After a couragoues battle, he had unfortunately lost his life last July. I struggle to find words to describe the experience. Simply, this illness destroyed my dad's health, cut his life short, and impacted the lives of those who loved him.

I think about who he was. His optimistic outlook. The things that mattered most to him. That is what sticks with me above all else, and it allows me to smile looking back. I'm proud and I'm grateful that he was my dad, and I know that he is loved and missed by many.

I've decided to take on the PMC this year (50-miles) to continue my father's fight, and to assist in keeping the hope alive for the many currently battling.

The PMC is leading a charge to beat cancer. Last year, 100% of rider-raised revenue went directly to support the Jimmy Fund and Dana-Farber Cancer Institute's tireless commitment to finding a cure.
