Why I Ride ...
On August 6th, I will undertake the Pan Mass Challenge (PMC), a long 110+ mile one day bike ride across Massachusetts It will be a very long & arduous ride, but I'm excited for the challenge as I'm riding to raise money for a great organization and cause; the life-saving cancer research and treatment of the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute (DFCI).
Almost all of us have been touched by cancer and seen loved ones battle the disease. Personally, I've seen close friends, grandparents, and my amazingly strong mother in-law fight against the disease.
This is my second PMC. Last year - thanks to the generosity of family, friends, and colleagues, I raised over $15K to help this great cause - and this year I am striving for even more! Any amount of money you can afford to donate will be much appreciated - and thanks to the generosity of a few of my Bain Capital colleagues, every dollar I raise from friends and family will be matched 2:1 - so you can triple your impact! Every $1 you give will mean $3 more to support cancer research!
