Team Next Generation is just days away from The 2025 Pan-Mass Challenge this August 2nd and 3rd! As a quick reminder, the PMC is an annual bike-a-thon across Massachusetts that raises money for life-saving cancer research and treatment at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. The PMC has raised $1.05 billion since its start in 1980 and has set a record target of $76 million for this year’s donation.

With your support, I hope to raise over $6 thousand as part of our team’s total target of $1 million in this year’s ride, building on the$2.3 million we have raised over the last six years!

This year I will be starting in Sturbridge on Saturday, August 2nd for an additional 20 miles in hopes that may allow me to skip the totally not treacherous bonus miles across the Bourne Bridge!

Team NextGen is honored to once again be riding on behalf of our Pedal Partner, Sophia. Sophia is a brave five-year old battling choroid plexus carcinoma. I am elated to report that Sophia is currently in remission and on her way to starting kindergarten in the fall! She is well on her way to joining our past pedal partners – King, Zeke, and Cully – as healthy, happy alumni of the DFCI.

As the cause remains close to home and heart, I ride on behalf of all those in my life who are fighting, or have fought, cancer, and in pursuit of a future where cancer becomes a vestigial disease fully understood and entirely curable.
