As most of you know, over the years I have been a proud supporter of Dana Farber and all of the great work that they do to combat cancer. This year I've decided to show my support by committing to a nice 185+ mile trek.
While most of my training will be done on Hubways on the streets of downtown Boston, I find it important as this challenge pales in comparison to the one that the good folks at Dana Farber are working tirelessly towards every day.
We've all been impacted by cancer in one way or another, and it is of paramount importance that whenever cancer pushes on us, we push back twice as hard! I promise you that I will push myself to the limit in this bike race, but in turn I'm asking for your financial support to help the amazing doctors, nurses, researchers and staff of Dana Farber push the limit on cancer treatment.
Finding a cure for cancer is no easy task, but if we work together and take it one mile and one dollar at a time, then I'm certain we will one day push cancer out of our vocabulary.
Here's to pushing the limits,
Mike
