In April of 2017, I found a lump in my breast. I later realized that the date of the discovery of my breast cancer was the 16th anniversary, to the day, of my mother's death from breast cancer. Two things that helped me get through the battle ahead were my care team at Dana Farber and biking. I biked through all my treatment, stopping to recover from surgery. I was too sick to ride in 2018 but I volunteered. I was moved to see how many people supported Dana Farber. This year I am proud to be a volunteer AND a rider. I'm a proud supporter of the PMC because it is leading a charge to beat cancer. In fact, last year 100% of rider-raised revenue went directly to support the Jimmy Fund and Dana-Farber Cancer Institute's tireless commitment to finding a cure.
