Dear friends and family,
Last year I went to a Pan Mass Challenge volunteer station and was absolutely amazed. Seeing all types of riders make the long voyage and the overwhelming amount of volunteers and supporters that weekend, moved me to make the decision to ride in this year’s 192 mile 2 day challenge, (despite not being on a bike for many years). When I learned that 100% of ALL donations goes to the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, I was even more certain that I wanted to participate in this race. Having been touched by losing loved ones, and knowing many more that have beaten and battled cancer, I thought of no better way to help conquer this brutal disease.
On the first weekend in August, I will join over 6,000 cyclists in the PMC. I will be riding along with a team called the “Flying Henry’s” hoping that in its 15th year I can help push this small team reach its amazing goal of 1 Million dollars!
The PMC itself raises more money for charity than any other single event in the country, $500 million since 1980 and $45 million last year alone! This success is the result of a lot of people riding for, and caring about, a cure. and because every penny matters.
I've made a personal commitment to ride and raise $4,500. I hope you can help me achieve this significant goal.
I hope I can count on your support
