Why I Ride ...
I am honored to be able to ride in my 10th PMC this year (Sturbridge to Ptown - 186 miles), TEN YEARS!!!!
Every year we make progress on how we treat and beat cancer, and it is only a matter of time before we find a cure so we don't have to lose anymore loved ones to this awful disease. I am committed to continuing to raise money until we do. My mother (who rode 2008-2012 and has volunteered every year since (she will also be a volunteer for this years ride as well) introduced me to the PMC and I will be riding again on Team Chrissy with my best friend Nicole Fields (Chrissy Fields Cedrone is her sister-in-law and a dear friend who passed away Jan 28, 2017).
We know too many lives impacted by this horrible disease. Over the years about a dozen close friends and family have suffered from cancer including my Uncle Jimmy (James Samples) who was diagnosed with stage IV lung cancer in 2017 and after a valiant fight he joined the lord in heaven on January 6, 2019.Cancer sucks!!
I am proud supporter of the PMC because it is leading a charge to beat cancer. 100% of rider-raised revenue goes directly to support the Jimmy Fund and Dana-Farber Cancer Institute's tireless commitment to finding a cure.
Thank you for you continued generosity and support. Much, much, much ove from my heart, mind and soul for bringing awareness as well as helping to find a cure.
