Dear Friends and Family,

On August 3rd, Patrice and I will once again be on our bikes for the Pan-Mass Challenge, riding to raise funds for cancer care and research at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. This will mark our combined 46th year participating in the PMC—a milestone we're proud of, but one that also reminds us how persistent this fight remains.

The money raised through the PMC has contributed to extraordinary progress in cancer research, including the development of targeted therapies and, most notably, immunotherapies—some of which have led to actual cures. These scientific advances are deeply personal to Mike, as immunotherapy has been the focus and passion in his  biotech career.

But while we celebrate the victories, we ride with heavy hearts too. We continue to ride in honor of those we've lost and in support of those still fighting. Sadly, that list continues to grow, touching many of our dear friends and family members. This year, we ride with our nephew, Steven, heavy on our minds. He just recently passed away from an a very aggressive head and neck cancer. He was only 40 years old. His courageous battle and unwavering spirit continue to inspire us, and we’ll be carrying him with us every mile.

We hope you’ll consider supporting our ride again this year and helping us reach our goal. As many of you know, every dollar raised by riders goes directly to Dana-Farber. Our personal goal this year is to raise $20,000, and with your support, we know we can get there.
