My love for cycling began at a young age, inspired by watching my dad cross the PMC finish line each summer on the Cape. Over the years, the PMC has come to mean much more to me—not just as a celebration of cycling, but as a symbol of hope and support for those affected by cancer. Its significance became deeply personal as I witnessed friends’ parents and grandparents lose their battles with the disease. This ride serves as a way for me to honor their memories and contribute to the fight against cancer.

The Pan Mass Challenge is an annual bike-a-thon that raises funds for cancer research and treatment at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. Since its inception in 1980, the PMC has raised over $900 million for Dana-Farber and donates 100% of rider-raised funds, making it one of the most successful athletic fundraising events in the U.S.

This year I will be riding alongside my father in the 2-day, 162 mile route from Boston to Provincetown, MA. I will be dedicating my ride in loving memory of Debra Epstein.
