Why I Ride ...
I am very excited to be riding in my 10th Pan Mass Challenge this summer and my 2nd Pan Mass Challenge after having two girls. It has felt great to be back on the bike (even though I may be a bit slower!). I am so fortunate to my family for helping watch the girls while I get out on some training rides - it wouldn't be possible without them!
The PMC has become a huge part of my summer and I can't wait to be riding with my Dad again this year for his 16th PMC. My Dad and I have decided to be virtual riders this summer and will do a ride together in August in support of the Pan Mass Challenge. I am happy to be raising money with Team Goose Rocks Beach Cyclists as we hope to pass the $2 million all time money raised for our team! Thank you to all of my donors - it wouldn't be possible without you.
Cancer continues to affect my family and friends and this is my way to support them and help raise money to find a cure for cancer. Every mile I think about those still fighting and those that have sadly lost their battle with cancer. Closer by the Mile is one of the mottos for the PMC and I truly believe we are helping to find a cure so that we will eventually have a world without cancer.
I'm a proud supporter of the PMC because it is leading a charge to beat cancer. All donations go directly to support the Jimmy Fund and Dana-Farber Cancer Institute's tireless commitment to finding a cure. Thank you very much for any donations!
