Why I Ride ...
Dear friends,
On August 3rd & 4th, I am fortunate to be riding in my 24th PMC. It's also the 22nd year for our Pedals for Pediatrics team, which directs all donations to the pediatric program at Dana-Farber/Boston Children's Cancer and Blood Disorder Center. P4P's mission is to ease the burden of childhood cancer through direct funding of pediatric research grants, innovative programming, and financial assistance for the families of children and adolescents undergoing cancer treatment. To date, the P4P team has raised $7 million for the DF/BCH program, funding groundbreaking pediatric cancer research and innovative patient and family programs, and reducing the significant out-of-pocket expenses that come with a cancer diagnosis.
Thanks to all of you who have generously donated in the past to support cancer research and top notch pediatric cancer care at Dana Farber and Boston Childrens. Let's keep the fight going!
