I don't know about you, but I can't believe I am registered to ride in my 30th Pan Mass Challenge !!!! It's hard to believe I have been participating in the PMC for half of my life! I'll never forget the first time I heard of the event while vacationing on the Cape and decided to head to the P-town Inn finish line to cheer riders coming in back in 1993. I knew at that moment I was going to register for PMC 1994 and haven't stopped (except when I was pregnant in 2003)!! It is such an amazing event and I am truly thankful that I have been able to do it.
I wish I could say cancer didn't exist anymore but, sadly, we all know too many who have been diagnosed, are in treatment, or have lost the battle. There are, however, many cancer survivors thanks to the new research, treatments and advances conducted at Dana Farber Cancer Institute made available through your PMC donations.This year it is more than likely the PMC will reach over $1 billion dollars being donated to DFCI/Jimmy Fund since its inception.
This year, I will participate in the 2 day ride from Wellesley to Provincetown on August 3 & 4. I will continue to ride the PMC, along with so many other committed riders, with our common goal of having a world without cancer.
Please help me raise funds for life-saving research and cures for cancer. I have committed to raise $6,000 and know I will do it again with your help. I hope you will continue to support me in this very important event.
100% of all donations go directly to the Dana Farber Cancer Institute / Jimmy Fund Clinic.
Also, many insurance companies provide a discount if you donate to the PMC so please donate and check it out!
