Why I Ride ...
I'm a proud supporter of the PMC because it is leading a charge to beat cancer. In fact, last year 100% of rider-raised revenue went directly to support the Jimmy Fund and Dana-Farber Cancer Institute's tireless commitment to finding a cure.
I am riding in honor of my father, who was diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma in August of 2022. My brother and I were able to successfully run the Boston Marathon in honor of our father and benefitting the multiple myeloma foundation. I am so happy to ride the PMC to help raise money to benefit Dana-Farber and help fund research that saves so many lives, including my Dad's.
After radiation, chemotherapy, and a bone marrow transplant, we received the news that his cancer cell numbers are incredibly low. All of this would not be possible without the amazing work taking place at Dana-Farber. There is currently no cure for Multiple Myeloma, which makes research of paramount importance. By donating to Dana-Farber, you are directly contributing to finding new treatments and cures for a whole range of cancers, including Multiple Myeloma.
I am so excited to ride with my brother and all other PMC-ers, and I am incredibly thankful for your support.
