This year I ride for my Mom. It is almost a exactly a year since she succumbed to lung cancer and we miss her! I picture her shaking her head and saying 'I dont know why you do these things'. I do it for those who can't and to help find a cure for a disease that impacts each of us. I'm inspired by those that fight, those that live and those no longer with us, especially Heather Budd - who inspired my first ride in 2022. She was fierce, funny, tenacious smart and caring and continues to guide the work we do at Azara.
