Why I Ride ...
After volunteering in 2009 (Wilmington Kid's Ride and at the Bourne finish line) and cheering Stacey Forman on during her ride, I was determined to join in the ride for 2010. I successfully completed the 110-mile ride from Sturbridge to Bourne and unearthed a desire to ride again and again. This year with be my 14th year riding or volunteering with the PMC.
Cancer has affected many of my close friend's families and I keep their memory alive by riding in their honor. It's a privilege for me to ride for the families and pushes me to ride longer in their memory.
Knowing how the PMC's fund raising had helped the Jimmy Fund and Dana Farber Cancer Institute in such an impactful way, I have once again begun the journey of raising funds and training for the ride.
Help me provide support to children and all others who rely on the Jimmy Fund and Dana Farber for their cancer treatment and research.
