Dear Friends and Family,
How would you like to be one in a Billion?! This August 3-4 I will ride in the PanMass Challenge (PMC), a weekend bike-a-thon that supports cancer research and treatment for the Jimmy Fund/Dana Farber Cancer Institute and amounts to 62% of its annual revenue. Remarkably, this year the PMC’s lifetime fundraising since its inception in 1980 will top $1 Billion… with a capital B!
All of you have contributed to this remarkable feat! This will be my 20th year riding and I have you to thank for supporting this important cause all these years. If you or anyone you know has faced cancer, then you know how lucky we are that there’s a place like Dana Farber on our side providing top-notch care and discovering new treatments to provide improved outcomes for all patients. Eradicating this disease seems elusive, but the drive to succeed in this mission is unwavering.
If you would like to help push the PMC fundraising over the $1 Billion mark, please consider donating to my ride by choosing a tab on the left for credit card, DAF (Donor Advised Fund) or Venmo. This year I will ride 85 miles from Wellesley to Bourne on Saturday August 3rd. Incredibly, 100% of all rider-raised funds goes directly to cancer research and treatment at Dana-Farber and the Jimmy Fund thanks to our many sponsors, thousands of volunteers and people like you who want to make a difference.
A Billion Thanks for your generous support!
Laura
