I'm a proud supporter of the PMC because it's leading the charge to beat cancer, but especially because my best friend Mark Collins has multiple myeloma. Mark was diagnosed over 13 years ago, and he's received great treatment at Dana Farber and Mass General. I especially want to thank Dr. Andrew Yee, who has been fantastic.

Unfortunately Mark's cancer has relapsed and he needs another CAR-T treatment.

CAR T is a type of immunotherapy that activates your immune cells (T cells) against sick or damaged cells. In CAR T cell therapy, your own T cells are modified to add a special receptor (or hook), called a CAR, to their surface so they can target specific cells like cancer. In Mark's treatment they will be targeting the GPRC5D protein.
