My name is Lou Ballerene, I am 48 years old and live in Duxbury, MA with my wife of 22 years, Kim, and our four kids (Emily, Charlie, Henry, Jack).

I am riding in my third PMC this year as a member of Team Will Power. My team and I have been riding for our good friend John Willett who lost his battle with cancer a few years ago. We have raised over $300,000 and each year we get back at it to bring that number up. We are moved by the energy and emotion of the PMC and continue to be blown away by the support and dedication of all the spectators and volunteers who help us during the ride (even in the driving rain last year) We couldn't be more proud to ride in John's name and to be part of an effort much larger than ourselves.

We are also riding for other friends in our community, family and people we don't know who have been impacted by cancer. My effort to train and ride this year will pale in comparison to the battle many people fight. I hope my energy, and the energy of our team, can bring hope to others and let them know that people are pulling for them and want to help.
