I am riding in loving memory of my mother who was a 28 year survivor of breast cancer, but then developed an aggressive form of leukemia 2017.

I am a Dana-Farber researcher and am devoting my career to advance cancer immunotherapy. The immune system can be summoned to effectively treat cancer, and a subset of patients are now experiencing durable control of their tumors for many years. My lab is developing novel immunotherapies, and we are advancing these ideas to clinical trials in collaboration with our clinical colleagues.

Cancer research is a 'team sport' and I am riding with team Velominati. We are inspired by the relatives and friends of team members who have benefited from immunotherapy. But cancer researchers cannot do it alone, and that is why I am riding the PMC with my team.
