Third times the charm!
I'm getting BACK on the bike this August to ride 160 miles across Massachusetts in honor of my Mom and Dad. I cannot think of a better way to honor my parents, and do something that makes an impact in their memory.
Like so many other families, I have been directly impacted by the dreaded C word - Cancer. The PMC this August marks exactly 8 years since my mom’s cancer diagnosis. Unfortunately after a 16 month battle with stage IV lung cancer, we lost my mom on December 14, 2017. During my mom’s fight with cancer she had an incredible team of doctors that were affiliated with Dana Farber, so this fundraising is near and dear to my heart. My Dad took the absolute best care of my Mom during her battle with cancer, driving her to the every appointment and chemo treatment, always holding her hand when it got tough. My Dad unexpectedly passed on May 3, 2022, which prompted me to get on the bike and do my first PMC ride that August. My parents were and will always be my lifelong heroes - If you knew them, you know they'd be waiting at the finish line for me with the biggest smiles on their faces! They were my #1 fans, and it brings me peace knowing how much they'd support me doing this.
Please help me honor my parents and join me in raising money towards cancer research. 100% of rider-raised revenue goes directly to support the Jimmy Fund and Dana-Farber Cancer Institute's tireless commitment to finding a cure.
Thank you for each and every dollar - It means the world to me to be able to do this in my parent's memory, and it's all thanks to you all!
FUCK CANCER! Let's do this!
