Dear Friends,

My mother Polly would be turning 80 this year. Mum loved her family, spending hours in her garden, competing in ballroom dance tournaments and doting over her border collies. She was diagnosed with Glioblastoma 22 years ago and lived for 19 days after her diagnosis. Since that time, cancer research and treatment has made huge strides. Mum is my reason for riding the PMC. She is with me in spirit, whispering in my ear as I ride through the dunes of Wellfleet each year. The PMC ride is my tribute to mum and all of the wonderful people who have lived their lives with cancer. The PMC is also my ride of hope for all who are currently being treated and for the families and friends who care for them. I ride for my team the Riverside Rockets, my PMC family, some of whom are brave patients and survivors themselves.
