Dear Family and Friends,
This will be my fifth year riding in the Pan Mass Challange in loving memory of my son Zachary. Zach was diagnosed with an extremely rare and aggressive form of cancer in March 2020. My son fought this fight like a true warrior. He went through a series of clinical trial drugs, chemotherapy, radiation treatments and multiple surgical procedures. Zach lost his fight and passed away on January 8th 2021 from this horrible disease.
My son was so brave and courageous during his fight, one day he traveled to Dana Farber Cancer Institute in Boston, Massachusetts for radiation and chemotherapy treatments, suffered an allergic reaction to the medication but still played in a 7 inning baseball game that evening over two hours away from Boston. Zach loved to play the game of baseball and ice hockey, he always wore #7, therefore I hope to raise $7,000.00. I have committed to ride the PMC with my son's doctor, Dr. Allison O'Neill from Dana Farber Cancer Institute. Our goal is to ride the Pan Mass Challenge together and cross the finish line together in memory of Zach.
I'm a proud supporter of the PMC because it is leading a charge to beat cancer. In fact, every year 100% of rider-raised revenue goes directly to support the Jimmy Fund and Dana-Farber Cancer Institute's tireless commitment to finding a cure.
From the bottom of my heart, I'd like to thank each and everyone of you who have supported me and taken the time to donate to my ride since Zach has passed. Together, to date we have raised over $43,000 to help Dana Farber find a cure. I am truly humbled and grateful for all the support. Please consider donating to my 2025 fundraising campaign again this year.
I will also ride the 2025 PMC in Honor of:
Alexa McKenney
Monique Wolanin
Sarah Tetreault
Thank you in advance for any donation, whether big or small, it will all help to make an impact.
Sincerely,
Zach's Dad, Keith
