This year I'm back on the road and will ride from Sturbridge to Bourne to Provincetown as part of the Pan-Mass Challenge (PMC).
I'm a proud supporter of the PMC because it is leading the charge to beat cancer.
Since 1980, PMC has raised almost $1 billion for the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and 100% of rider-raised revenue went directly to support their tireless commitment to finding a cure.
I've lost grandparents, an uncle and other family members to cancer.
I have a sister-in-law who's a proud and fierce survivor of cancer.
I have friends and family that are courageous survivors.
In 2017, I had a tumor in my leg removed and I benefited from cancer research that helped in the early detection and removal of this tumor.
I'm excited to be a part of this ride and the many riders who believe in the fight against cancer.
Cancer is terrible disease that eats away at the fabric of our lives.
While disease therapy has come a long way over the years, there is still has a long way to go. From improving the survival rate to improving the quality of life, research continues to look for ways to improve survivabilty and give us hope.
I'll do the riding, you can help me by making a donation to support my ride!
Please consider donating, even a small amount, to help me reach my goal of $6000 (or more!) so that we can do our part.
Thank you!
Kevin
