Today I've committed to raising money for cancer research by riding in the 2023 Pan-Mass Challenge with Team Horizon on August 5th and 6th. This will be my 14th PMC ride and there really are no words to describe the personal satifaction it provides. Most of us have been affected by this horrible disease in one way or another and I sincerely hope I am alive and still riding when we find a cure.
The PMC raises more money for charity than any other single charity in the country, almost $900 million since 1980 and this year's goal alone is $70 Million! This success is the result of a lot of people riding for and caring about a cure. And because every penny matters, 100% of every rider raised dollar goes directly to the Dana Farber Cancer Institute!
