Why I Ride ...
Dear Friends and Family,
This year, I am honored to be riding in memory of my good friend, Dane, who passed away last January after a 9-month battle with colon cancer. Dane was an amazing friend to so many, a devoted husband, and a loving father to three. We all miss his enthusiam for life, his warmth and kindness, and his competitive spirit. I am certain that he will be motivating me to the finish this year! I am also riding in memory of my grandma who received unparrelled cancer treatment at Dana Farber.
I am proud to be riding for Team Fidelity again and will be riding alongside my Dad and my sister Carrie.
100 percent of all rider-raised funds go directly to cancer research and treatment at Dana-Farber and the Jimmy Fund. The PMC is Dana-Farber’s single largest supporter and is more than 60 percent of the Jimmy Fund’s annual revenue. Since 1980, the PMC has raised $900 million for Dana-Farber.
