Happy Father's Day everyone! It's great day to announce my and Chris's participation in the Pan Mass Challenge re-imagined in honor of my father, Kevin Murphy who passed away of Carcinoid Cancer nearly 9 years ago (8/15/16) at the age of 65. On August 2nd, we'll complete a metric century ride (62.5 miles) along the seacoast of NH and Maine with a turn around at our house in York. ME. We'll be riding with Team Stuie, a team of friends who are riding in memory and in honor of their family and friends who have been impacted by cancer. We're proud participants in the Pan-Mass Challenge - a bike-a-thon that raises more money for charity than any other single athletic fundraising event in the country - to bring us Closer by the Mile to a cure for cancer.

Since its founding in 1980, PMC riders like us have raised more than $1 billion for lifesaving cancer research, treatment and patient care at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, one of the country's top cancer care hospitals. My PMC is making a difference in the lives of patients at Dana-Farber and around the world. The funds we raise support the innovative work of doctors, nurses, and scientists in their search for cures for cancers and related diseases. 100 percent of every dollar we raise goes directly to Dana-Farber, meaning that your donation has a real impact!

My father received his care at Dana Farber and we can think of no better way to honor his memory on the 9th anniversary of his passing, and what an amazing father and grandfather he was to us, leaving this world far too soon. Thank you in advance for any donation you can make to support our ride!
