I felt amazing going into last year's PMC. I trained, cross-trained, and got to ride with my mom again. Even though it was HOT, we made it all the way to P-Town, together.
This year, things are looking a little different! I'm having a baby boy in June! (see photos for future pedaling feet). Even though I won't be participating in this year's PMC, I still plan to raise money and ride to make a difference.
This year, as I grow bigger and bigger, I am committing to ride the length of the PMC (200 miles) on my Peloton by the time I give birth. I had a rough first trimester and am slowly getting back on the bike, working to strengthen my ever-changing body. At the moment I'm riding a couple times a week in 20 and 30 minute increments, so this is a slow process as I adjust to pregnancy, but I am determined to reach this goal.
I am so grateful to have communities from Block Island, camp, college, work, family, Budapest, and New Zealand to support me year after year. The fundraising is becoming less stressful because of YOUR commitment.
Last year we reached $1 billion raised over the lifetime of the PMC. That is $1 billion towards cancer research, which makes an unbelievable difference. I lost an uncle and grandmother to cancer, and I had a grandfather I never met because cancer took him too soon.
The money you donate goes to facilities, labs, treatments, and research--all in the name of eliminating cancer. Please donate what you're able, and I will ride my Peloton miles in your name and whoever's name you'd like to make your donation in.
Help me make a difference in 2025!
