Dear Friends,

On the weekend of August 6th and 7th, I will be riding with approximately 6,500 cyclists in the “2016 Pan Mass Challenge”, an annual bike-a-thon that raises money for cancer research and care at Dana Farber in Boston. This event raised $45-million last year of which 100% of all rider raised funds were donated to Dana-Farber.

I have been a spectator at the “Family Finish” for the last five years, watching many loved ones, friends and colleagues cross the finish line. Each year I have walked away from the event being in such awe of everyone who participated in the ride and wanting so badly be a part of it. So, this year, I hopefully start a tradition of being a rider and raising money to find a cure for cancer.

As some of you may know, Dana-Farber has been such an important part of my life for the last few years. I am greatly indebted to Dana-Farber and their doctors for the opportunities and healthcare they were able to provide for me. I now feel like it is my time to give back to Dana-Farber and everyone who helped me, by riding and raising $3,700 for others who are still waiting for a cure.
