I ride in memory of my dad, Tom Gilroy, who fiercely and courageously battled glioblastoma and passed away on October 17, 2024. His fight inspired me to start riding in the PMC in 2023. I will miss seeing his smile one mile from the finish line in Bourne, cheering me on. Thanks to PMC funded research and the care of Dana-Farber, we were able to get precious extra time with him. I will continue to ride in his memory in the hopes that there will be a cure one day.
