As many of you know, on Father's Day in 2011, I lost my Dad to cancer. This year, due a few unforseen injuries, I will not be riding the full challenege, but I will still be participating as a reimagined rider in the Pan Mass Challenge to raise funds for the Dana-Farber.

We all know a loved one, friend or colleague who has received a cancer diagnosis. For some of us, we have lost a loved one to cancer, as I did losing my Dad to lung cancer in 2011. Because of this, even though I'm temporarily sidelined in my training, I will be a paritipcant my 14th consecutive PAN MASS CHALLENGE to raise money for life-saving cancer research at the Dana Farber Cancer Institute in honor of my Dad. As soon as I fully recover, I plan to be back on the bike for a shorter distance in mileage, but with the same commitment to raise as much money as I can for the Dana Farber Cancer Insititue.

Thank you to all of you who have already donated to the 2024 ride. I appreciate that you get many asks for support over the year. If you can give, please do so. If you cannot this year, I understand.. And if you have the capacity to give a little more than you might normally, your generosity will make a tremendous difference this year. This year, I have a personal goal of raising $6,500.00 and the team is hoping to raise over $100,000 for the Dana Farber Cancer Center. I will once again be joining my cousin David (in a little different capacity) and the rest of the Midnight Riders to participate in the Pan Mass Challenge.
