While I've taken a small hiatus from riding the PMC and fundraising for cancer research, the disease has not taken a break. Over the 7 past years that I rode and the subsequent 3 year pause, too many family members and friends have succumbed to cancer. I'm confident I'm not alone in this regard. Most recently my good friend John Swindell lost his father Warren to pancreatic cancer in March of this year. I am dedicating this year's ride to him and both of my in-laws, along with all the others. I'm happy to add your family members or friends to the names on the ribbons I will carry through the ride. As always, I also dedicate this ride to my mom, a cancer survivor, and proof that we are making some progress. Please help me to fund the important research done by the Dana Farber Cancer Institute, especially this year as more traditional sources of funding are being put into question. 100% of every dollar you donate goes to DFCI.
