This year I am saddling up with my rockstar wife, Erin, and my mom, Joyce to participate in the PMC's reimagined ride for Team Ovarian Cancer.
In 2022, I was diagnosed with Stage 3C Ovarian Cancer and underwent extensive surgery and chemotherapy. It's not over; I am still in treatment, but stable, happy, and thriving thanks to the innovative therapies that have been developed in the last five years. We are on the edge of something groundbreaking, and I am eager to be a small part of that process.
Our son Jack is four years old. It is the honor of my life to be his mama. Every day I wake up ferociously determined to doing every single thing I can for as long as I possibly can, cancer or not, for that kid, for my wife, for my family, for my fellow travellers on this path.
G.I Gurdjieff is credited with saying The warrior does not fight because he hates that which is in front of him, but because he loves that which is behind him.
Please join me as we step into the future together.
