This is my 9th year raising funds for Dana-Farber for Innovative Cancer Institute. This cause saved my daughter Madeline's life when she did not respond to chemotherapy, limb salvage and tumor removal surgery, radiation, and recurrent chemotherapy drugs. Based on a rigorous and highly selective process, the Claudia Adams Barr Program selects the brightest, most creative scientists and funds their most innovative ideas to propel basic research discoveries that transform cancer treatment.
