Dear friends,

I continue to volunteer for the PMC in memory of my mother, Lila. She was a three-time cancer survivor and patient of Dana-Farber for help with her severe anemia. I am so grateful to Dana-Farber for taking her in after nearly 3-years of searching for a cause to her anemia. We were matched with one of the top docrors in the field and, although she could not stay around this world long enough to see the results, she marvelled at the care she received and it lifted her spirits tremendously to feel that some one cared and wouldn't give up on her.

I have riden the PMC twice and am doing a virtual ride this year and will be volunteering on security at the Ptown Inn, if we have the actual event. My virtual ride will consist of ten 20-mile loops around Cape Ann over the next few months to equal the same milage as the classic 190-mile route of the PMC.
