I am very excited to announce that I will be riding in my third Pan-Mass Challenge as part of Team Crus11tour. A two day, 192 mile bike ride across Massachusetts – in memory of Davey Hovey.

CRUS11TOUR symbolizes the battle that Davey Hovey fought against Stage IV Glioblastoma Multiforme, an aggressive form of brain cancer. Davey, only 25 years old when he was diagnosed, displayed tremendous bravery as he endured multiple surgeries, countless seizures, and numerous treatments in his unwavering determination to crush his tumor. Sadly, after a courageous 16-month fight, Davey passed away. In his memory, our mission is to raise vital funds to support brain cancer research, with a specific focus on Glioblastoma. This particular form of brain cancer faces limited research funding and pharmaceutical support. Therefore, every dollar raised through CRUS11TOUR goes directly to the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute for brain cancer research. The David Hovey CRUS11TOUR Fund, consisting of both Current Use and Endowed funds, has been established to honor Davey's legacy.

To date, team CRUS11TOUR has raised an astounding $7.7 MILLION for brain cancer research. This August, we will continue to ride in honor of Davey, carrying forward his inspiring legacy and fighting against Glioblastoma.
