I am honored to be riding the Pan Mass Challenge this August in support of the fight against cancer. As we all know, much too well, a cancer diagnosis has had devastating outcomes for way too many. I am lucky. My mother was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2001 and successfully treated. She has been cancer free for over 20 years. Tragically, not every mother and son and family are as fortunate. Yet, thanks to the PMC and other organizations like it we are getting closer to a cure. Since 1980 the PMC and its committed riders have raised over 900 million dollars in support of the Jimmy Fund and Dana-Farber Cancer Institute's tireless commitment to finding a cure for cancer.
