Bicycle riding is a great source of fitness and pleasure for me. On a nearly daily basis, even in the lousy New England winter weather, or the even worse spring weather, little or no motivation is required for me to suit up and ride. Last year was different though because two special people in my life were both bravely facing cancer diagnoses and treatment at far too young an age. One is a relative and the other, was a colleague, Bart Wise, who bravely fought pancreatic cancer until it cut short his amazing life in December 2018.
My relative is doing well after enduring aggressive cancer treatment at Dana Farber.
Please help me share my love and admiration for both of them by donating to the cause.
