Cancer is one of the most brutal diseases out there. It just takes and takes. Over these past few years, Cancer has stolen the lives of our dear friend Lucia, my beloved younger sister Adriana and my father, Carlos as well as many other trusted friends, closest relatives, coworkers, colleagues, professors, students, and many others around us. But thanks to institutions like the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, where Adriana and my dear friend Lucia received care during their battle, we have a chance at beating this terrible disease.
As painful as it is, as much as we’re grieving, Cancer is a disease that unfortunately doesn’t take days off. So we can’t either. That’s why for the fifth year, I will be riding the Pan-Mass Challenge in order to honor their memory and continue fighting for those we have lost and for those that continue their struggle. Let’s work together, let's continue pushing on and helping the people and institutions that are working hard against Cancer. With your help and backing many of us are determined to defeat this disease. There have been many losses but also many victories thanks to all of you that continue supporting the cause. Let's continue making progress, one mile at a time!!
Adri, Papa, and Lucia, I ride for you and you’ll always be in our hearts.

We are proud supporters of the PMC because it is leading a charge to beat cancer. In fact, last year 100% of rider-raised revenue went directly to support the Jimmy Fund and Dana-Farber Cancer Institute's tireless commitment to finding a cure.
