My name is Jean Teague. I am writing this because Justin can not. He lost his battle with cancer on October 19, 2020. Justin was a true fighter. He defied odds and lived years after doctors thought he wouldn't. The PMC was an important part of his life. He rode until he could no longer and even then he continued to fundraise and cheer on his team of college friends. Our friends will continue to ride in the PMC but it will certainly be a different experience. They will honor Justin's memory and continue to raise funds to help in finding a cure for this horrible disease.

We all need to help those affected by this horrible and devastating disease. Cancer unfortunately impacts too many lives. We need better treatment, ways to control Cancer, and ultimately ways to cure or prevent it. Justin's personal experience at Dana Farber was one of hope and encouraging progress. Changes in treatment and the ability to help patients is apparent year by year at Dana Farber. Unfortunately, it's likely someone close to you will be affected by cancer in the future but now is the time to help advance the search for a cure.
